I've posted a couple of times now about Depression, mainly because I recently went through a sort of relapse that directly affected my creative output. However, I only really posted about it AFTER the worst of it had passed and I was already benefiting from medical and personal help. The reason is that I have outlets for it in my life offline - I have friends and family that are very understanding and supportive, and even my workplace has helped me feel safe and validated. I have health insurance that provides mental health at (for me) a very affordable price. I have all of the in real life - I don't need to get it online.
